Tools, Security and Control

In the previous module, we gave our agent "hands" (via MCP) so it could act on your real tools — including without code (Make / n8n / Airtable). But giving tools to an autonomous AI carries a major risk: what happens if it makes a mistake, loops forever, or someone tries to hack it? To go from tinkering to professional, you need to fit it with seatbelts.

Level: Advanced · Estimated time: 35–45 min reading + workshop · Prerequisites: Modules 1 to 3.

🎯 By the end of this module, you will be able to:

Section titled “🎯 By the end of this module, you will be able to:”
  • Recognize Prompt Injection (direct AND indirect) and set up guardrails.
  • Prevent infinite loops that drain your budget.
  • Put a human in the loop (HITL) on irreversible actions.
  • Trace what your agent does to diagnose and fix it.
  • Apply all of this to your no-code stack (Airtable permissions, HITL in Make/n8n, traces).
  • Place your AI against the law: the 4 risk levels of the AI Act and the role of GDPR.
